About Cecilia Truong, OHT

Cecilia’s journey into oral health began with a deeply personal insight. Growing up, she witnessed her parents struggle with gum disease and believed, like many people do, that losing teeth was simply part of ageing. Learning that lifelong oral health is achievable with the right care was a turning point — and sparked her passion for helping others protect their smiles early.

At No Gaps Dental, Cecilia is known for her calm, supportive approach and her ability to explain oral health in clear, practical terms. She is passionate about empowering patients with the knowledge they need to make confident, informed decisions about their dental care.

Cecilia enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a particular passion for helping children develop positive dental habits from a young age, setting the foundation for lifelong oral health.

How I stay healthy and happy

Cecilia believes a healthy body supports a healthy mind. She regularly practices Pilates and yoga to stay energised and focused, allowing her to bring her best self to patient care each day.

Outside the clinic, happiness comes from connection — spending quality time with family and friends, travelling, and immersing herself in new cultures through food and shared experiences.

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums

No matter how busy the day has been, Cecilia sticks to the basics: brushing twice daily with fluoridated toothpaste and flossing every day to keep her teeth and gums healthy.

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy

Floss before you brush. This helps remove debris between the teeth so fluoride from toothpaste can reach those areas more effectively, giving enamel better protection.
