About Dr. Abha Ghangas

My path to dentistry was inspired by a love for both science and artistry. I’ve always been fascinated by how clinical precision and visual aesthetics come together to improve not just a person’s smile—but their confidence, comfort, and overall health. That blend is what continues to fuel my passion for dentistry today.

After graduating from Kurukshetra University in India and passing the Australian Dental Council (ADC) exams, I began practicing in Australia with a focus on personalised care and evidence-based treatment planning. Whether I’m aligning teeth through orthodontics or enhancing smiles with cosmetic procedures, I work closely with each patient to understand their goals and create a plan that delivers both function and aesthetics.

Orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry are areas I’m particularly passionate about, especially because they address both appearance and oral health. With 62% of Australians wanting to improve their smile’s appearance, I see it as my responsibility to offer care that is not only clinically sound but also emotionally impactful. My goal is to help patients feel empowered and happy with the smile they see in the mirror.

How I stay healthy and happy
I maintain my health by staying physically active with yoga, pilates, and running. What keeps me happy is time spent in the kitchen, meditating, and enjoying quality time with my family.

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
I keep my routine simple but consistent—brushing twice daily, flossing every day, and sticking to healthy lifestyle habits, especially when it comes to food.

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
Minimise snacking between meals. It not only protects your teeth but supports your energy and overall well-being too.
