About Dr. Garima Sharma

Growing up in a family of medical professionals, I was inspired from an early age by the power of healthcare to change lives. Dentistry stood out to me because of its unique blend of science, technical precision, creativity, and personal connection. It’s a profession where I can apply meticulous skills with artistry, helping people not only maintain their health but also feel genuinely proud of their smiles.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a wide range of clinical environments—including private practice, school dental programs, and special needs care in New Zealand—always guided by a commitment to excellence in patient care. I am highly skilled in cosmetic dentistry, surgical extractions, and advanced restorative procedures with a minimally invasive approach. For me, every appointment is about more than teeth—it’s about relieving discomfort, restoring confidence, and building relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

With gum disease affecting nearly 3 in 10 Australian adults, I focus heavily on prevention and patient education. I love helping even the most anxious patients feel at ease, especially children, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see patients return feeling happy and cared for. Your mouth is the mirror of your body—when you invest in your oral health, you invest in your overall well-being.

How I stay healthy and happy

I stay active through running, yoga, and meditation. Nothing soothes my soul quite like a quiet walk on the beach or time spent close to nature. These moments keep me grounded and balanced, both at work and at home.

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums

Twice-daily brushing and flossing, rinsing thoroughly after meals, staying hydrated, eating a healthy, fibrous diet, and making sure I never skip my professional dental cleans every six months.

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy

Prevention is always better than cure. Regular dental visits help catch potential problems early—remember, a healthy mouth reflects a healthy body.
