About Dr. Sabrina Shahrin

I became a dentist because I was drawn to the combination of science and hands-on skills. Having enjoyed painting since childhood, I have always valued working with detail and care. Dentistry allows me to apply these skills in a way that benefits my patients’ oral health and overall wellbeing.

My approach to dentistry is built on trust, clear communication, and patient education. I aim to make patients feel comfortable by explaining their treatment options and supporting them in making informed decisions about their care. I provide a range of treatments, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic options such as clear aligners, veneers, crowns, and bridges, with a focus on maintaining long-term dental health.

I am particularly passionate about preventative care and helping patients understand how daily habits affect oral health. Tooth decay and gum disease are two of the most common health conditions worldwide, yet largely preventable. By encouraging proactive care, I aim to support patients in maintaining healthy and functional teeth and gums throughout their lives.

How I stay healthy and happy
I maintain a disciplined lifestyle with a balanced diet and regular gym workouts. Staying active keeps me energized, but what truly brings me joy is spending quality time with my kids, enjoying nature, and indulging in my love for books with a good cup of coffee. I also have a passion for adventure, from solo beachside hikes to horse riding and quad biking—activities that give me a thrilling adrenaline rush.

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
I use an advanced electric toothbrush twice daily, floss every night, and visit a fellow dentist every six months for a professional check-up and cleaning. Consistency is key when it comes to oral health!

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
Avoid frequent snacking, especially on sugary foods. If you indulge in sweets, have them in one sitting rather than throughout the day, and brush your teeth immediately after to reduce the risk of decay.
