About Dr. Zahra Khaledi

My journey into dentistry began with a love for both art and science—two passions that blend beautifully in this field. Dentistry offers the chance to restore health and confidence through each treatment, combining precision with creativity. I find great fulfilment in helping patients transition from discomfort to relief, empowering them to enjoy a functional, beautiful smile once again. Witnessing this transformation is incredibly rewarding, and it’s what keeps me motivated every day.

As a certified and AHPRA-registered dentist who passed the Australian Dental Council exams with outstanding results, I prioritise delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. My published research on zirconia dental materials in the International Journal of Prosthodontics reflects my dedication to continually advancing my skills and staying informed on the latest best practices. I believe that dentistry should not only address a patient’s immediate needs but also create positive, lasting outcomes that support their long-term wellbeing.

With many patients needing restorative and aesthetic care, I strive to make every visit informative and comfortable. For me, creating an atmosphere where patients feel truly cared for is essential to achieving the best possible outcomes in their oral health.

How I stay healthy and happy
CrossFit keeps me strong and ready to meet the physical demands of dentistry. Outside of work, you’ll often find me painting, enjoying music, reading, or bushwalking—being in nature is where I feel happiest. Family time is invaluable to me, whether it’s sharing a relaxed coffee, going for walks, or unwinding together. These moments help me stay balanced and focused.

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
Consistency is key. I brush, floss, and visit my dentist regularly. Preventive care is essential, and I often remind my patients that even small steps make a big difference in keeping their teeth healthy.

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
A regular routine of brushing, flossing, and check-ups can help you avoid more serious issues and keep your smile in great shape.
