I chose dentistry because it enables me to make a direct, positive difference in people’s lives—helping them eat, speak, and smile with comfort and confidence. Oral health isn’t just about teeth; it’s about quality of life. I enjoy the balance of technical skill, ongoing learning, and patient interaction that dentistry offers. It allows me to work holistically, supporting both the physical and emotional well-being of my patients.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is promoting long-term habits that help prevent dental issues before they become complex. Preventive care and education are often overlooked, yet they are key in reducing the risk of tooth decay, gum disease, and other conditions that affect over 3.5 billion people globally. I believe that with the right knowledge and support, patients can take charge of their oral health and feel empowered to maintain it.
I’m proud to be part of my patients’ journeys—not just during treatment, but in those everyday check-ins where we talk about life and long-term care. Whether I’m delivering restorative work or managing gum health, I approach each visit with empathy and a commitment to excellence. By building trust over time, I aim to be not just a provider, but a partner in my patients’ overall wellness.
How I stay healthy and happy
I prioritize a balanced lifestyle by staying active—walking daily and aiming for 10,000 steps a day. In my downtime, I enjoy watching a good show or experimenting with new recipes at home. Most importantly, I cherish time spent over meals and conversations with friends and family. These simple pleasures keep me grounded, happy, and recharged.
How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
Every day, I brush twice (morning and night), floss, and stay hydrated. I keep an eye on my sugar intake and ensure I maintain a consistent routine—even on the busiest days. Preventive maintenance is the foundation of a healthy smile.
Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
Good habits are everything. Brushing, flossing, drinking water, and showing up for your check-ups may seem basic—but they’re incredibly powerful over time. Oral health is a daily investment that pays off for life.
