I became a dentist because I’ve always admired the life-changing impact dentistry can have – relieving pain, restoring function, and giving people the confidence to smile freely. My own orthodontic journey transformed the way I felt about my smile, and that experience shaped my desire to create the same positive transformation for others. Dentistry allows me to combine science, artistry, and human connection in a way that truly changes lives.
What I love most about being a dentist is the ability to connect with people and make a meaningful difference in their day – even in small ways. Building long-term relationships with patients is incredibly rewarding. When someone trusts you with their smile, that’s something you never take lightly. I approach every appointment with care, empathy, and a commitment to delivering results that look natural and feel comfortable.
Tooth decay remains one of the most common chronic conditions worldwide, yet it is largely preventable. That’s why I strongly believe in patient education and preventative care. I prioritise patient comfort, trust, and open communication, ensuring every patient feels supported and informed throughout their treatment. My focus is always on protecting long-term oral health while enhancing both function and aesthetics.
How I stay healthy and happy
I stay active, eat balanced meals, and make sure I get enough sleep. A positive mindset is something I truly value, staying optimistic helps me remain healthy both mentally and physically. Spending time with my Labrador Luna, appreciating the little things, and being present with friends and family are what keeps me grounded and happy.
How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
I practice what I preach. Brushing twice a day and flossing every night without fail. Consistency is key. Small daily habits make the biggest difference over time.
Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
Brush twice daily, floss every night, and attend regular six-monthly check-ups and cleans. Limiting sugary and acidic foods and drinking plenty of water can significantly reduce the risk of decay. Prevention is always easier and more comfortable than treatment.
