Dr May's tip to keep your teeth healthy
"Regular dental check-ups are crucial for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Prevention is better than cure, and seeing your dentist twice a year can help catch any issues early before they become bigger problems."
I became a dentist to make a positive impact on the lives of others by improving their smiles and boosting their confidence. Having personally experienced the transformative power of orthodontics, I am deeply passionate about delivering the same life-changing results to my patients. Dentistry allows me to blend art and science, two areas I have always been devoted to, and I enjoy the challenge of crafting solutions that enhance both oral health and aesthetics.
I believe that a key aspect of great dental care is empathy and understanding. Patients often come to us with fear or anxiety, and I am committed to making their experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. My focus is on building trust, offering gentle treatments, and providing the most advanced care by continuously staying up to date with modern dental technologies. Whether it’s through orthodontic treatments or preventive care, I aim to make each visit a positive step toward long-term oral health.
Beyond the dental chair, I emphasize the importance of preventive care and regular check-ups. Many oral health issues, like cavities or gum disease, can be easily prevented through early detection. I am passionate about educating my patients and ensuring they feel empowered to take control of their dental health.

How I stay healthy and happy
As a mom of two, staying active and joyful is key to my well-being. Balancing family life with work is made easier by creating a supportive, laughter-filled home. I also prioritize a balanced diet, hydration, and regular exercise to stay in top shape both physically and mentally. A strong support system, particularly my husband, who is also a dentist, helps me maintain happiness and stay curious about advancements in our field.
How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
I make sure to brush and floss daily and keep a close eye on my oral hygiene routine. Regular dental visits and a balanced diet are key to maintaining both my own dental health and that of my patients.
