About Dr. Emily Chow

With 27 years of experience in dentistry, I provide care that supports both oral health and overall well-being. My strengths include assisting patients with complex medical complications, head and neck pre- and post-cancer care, special needs dentistry, and those with dental anxieties. Whether addressing a dental emergency or developing a long-term treatment plan, I focus on building trust and tailoring care to each patient’s unique needs.

I take pride in adopting a preventative and holistic approach to dentistry, addressing the root causes of dental issues rather than just symptoms. Whether performing a root canal, delivering a crown, or enhancing smiles through cosmetic dentistry, my goal is always to help patients feel at ease and confident in their care. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is empowering patients to take control of their oral health and helping them achieve lasting, positive results.

With nearly 50% of Australians experiencing tooth decay by adulthood, regular check-ups and preventative care are vital. By educating my patients and providing practical, tailored advice, I aim to create healthier smiles and improve quality of life.

How I stay healthy and happy
I believe in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. I enjoy outdoor activities and staying active but also love cosy evenings at home watching movies with my husband and son. Recently, I’ve taken an interest in learning new languages, including Latin and Mandarin, which keeps my mind active and engaged.

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
Maintaining oral health is all about consistency. I brush and floss daily, choose tooth-friendly foods, and prioritise regular dental check-ups to ensure my smile stays healthy for the long term.

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
Love what you have and take care of it—regular check-ups and maintaining a strong dental routine are key to keeping your teeth healthy and strong.
