About Dr. Geetha Raveendran

I became a dentist because it allowed me to combine a meaningful career with the ability to help people feel better and more confident. Over the past 15 years in Sydney, I’ve developed extensive experience in managing complex dental cases and creating solutions that restore both function and aesthetics. What I enjoy most about dentistry is the chance to positively impact my patients’ lives—whether it’s through relieving pain, improving chewing ability, or enhancing their smile.

One of my core values is to recommend only treatments I would confidently choose for myself or my family. This principle guides me in building trust and delivering high-quality care. My primary areas of interest include root canal therapy, complex dental treatments, full-mouth rehabilitation, and crown and bridge work. Each treatment is an opportunity to combine technical precision with personalised care, ensuring that every patient’s needs are fully met.

Dental visits can be daunting for many people, which is why I prioritise creating a calm and supportive environment. I take time to explain treatment options thoroughly, empowering patients to feel confident and informed about their oral health journey.

How I stay healthy and happy
I stay active by jogging and swimming regularly, which helps me stay energised for both work and family life. Spending quality time with my daughter and close friends, as well as taking short holidays every few months, helps me maintain balance and stay refreshed.

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
Consistency is the foundation of my oral care routine. I brush and floss every day and focus on maintaining a healthy diet to protect my teeth and gums. I believe that small, daily habits lead to lasting oral health and overall confidence.

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
Good oral hygiene doesn’t just protect your teeth—it supports your overall health and confidence. Stay consistent with your routine and don’t skip regular check-ups to catch and prevent issues early.
