About Dr. Than Lwin Ye Myint
Coming from a family of dentists, dentistry has always been part of my life. My passion for the field grew as I realized the profound impact dental health has on overall well-being. There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping my patients smile confidently and live healthier lives. Whether it’s through a gentle treatment that alleviates discomfort or introducing the latest in dental care technology, my goal is always to provide the best possible care that meets each patient’s unique needs.
One of the greatest rewards in my career is seeing the positive changes I can bring to patients’ lives, both in terms of their smiles and their overall health. From routine checkups to more complex procedures, I believe that dentistry should be both effective and comfortable. I’m dedicated to providing stress-free treatments and ensuring patients feel at ease during every visit.
With a significant rise in oral health issues such as gum disease, which affects nearly 50% of adults, I’m passionate about educating my patients on the importance of maintaining oral hygiene. Preventative care and regular dental visits are key to long-term health, and I’m here to make sure that every patient receives the guidance and support they need.
How I stay healthy and happy
I find balance by spending time with my family, including my wife, who is also a dentist. Our weekends are filled with family gatherings, cooking together, and watching the English Premier League with my son, as we are both huge soccer fans. For me, happiness comes from these simple, joyful moments and maintaining a positive mindset.
How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
I follow a routine of brushing twice a day and regularly flossing to keep my teeth and gums healthy. It’s also important to maintain a balanced diet and stay hydrated for overall oral health.
Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
Healthy teeth are the foundation of a healthy life. Make sure to visit your dentist at least twice a year and follow their guidance on how to maintain your oral hygiene properly. Regular checkups prevent small issues from turning into bigger problems.
