About OHT Gurnoor Singh

As an Oral Health Therapist, I am passionate about helping people feel confident in their smiles while promoting habits that lead to lifelong oral health. I graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Sydney and was drawn to the profession through a deep desire to improve overall well-being and empower patients through prevention and education. My goal is to help patients feel informed, comfortable, and in control of their dental health.

I take pride in working closely with each patient to deliver tailored care that fits their needs and lifestyle. Whether I’m helping a child establish great brushing habits or supporting an adult with gum health, my focus is always on prevention and practical outcomes. In addition to clinical care, I serve as a Clinical Educator at the University of Sydney’s Dental School, where I support the next generation of oral health professionals. Teaching has given me a deeper appreciation for how evidence-based dentistry and communication go hand-in-hand in shaping quality care.

With around 1 in 3 Australians experiencing gum disease, it’s more important than ever to focus on prevention. I strongly believe that consistent hygiene habits and education are the most powerful tools in dentistry. Whether I’m in the clinic or the classroom, my mission is the same: to deliver quality care with integrity and help patients take control of their oral health journey.

How I stay healthy and happy
I live an active lifestyle and enjoy keeping fit through regular exercise. I also love travelling and exploring new places, which helps me recharge and stay curious. This balance allows me to bring fresh energy and focus to my work with patients.

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
I follow a consistent routine—brushing twice daily, flossing once a day, and using fluoride toothpaste. I also stay hydrated and make sure I attend regular dental check-ups to catch any issues early.

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
Don’t wait until something hurts. Prevention is your best protection—regular brushing, flossing, and professional cleanings can save you time, discomfort, and money in the long run.
