Peter's tip to keep your teeth healthy
“Make sure you rinse after eating, especially after anything high in sugar. Avoid smoking, and keep up with your regular check-ups and cleans with your dental practitioner.”
My decision to pursue a career in dental care was shaped by personal experience. Growing up, I saw first-hand the challenges my mum faced with her dental health, which inspired me to pursue a profession where I could support people experiencing their own dental concerns.
I’m particularly interested in prosthetic implant dentistry, especially as dental technology continues to evolve. I find it fascinating to see how developments in technology continue to expand the treatment options available compared with conventional methods.
Dental implants and dentures are treatments I particularly enjoy providing. I find it rewarding to help patients with compromised teeth explore options for restoring their teeth and dental function.
The core values I follow in my work are providing ethical care, maintaining professional behaviour, and building positive day-to-day interactions with my patients.
I work on the following No Gaps Dental clinics, and currently offering free denture reviews.

How I stay healthy and happy
Going to the gym five days a week and taking long walks on Sundays are key parts of my wellbeing.
Bringing up my three young children is the main thing that keeps me happy. For me, maintaining a healthy work-life balance means setting clear boundaries, managing my time intentionally and prioritising personal wellbeing.
One thing people may not know about me is that my night-time craving is honey and butter on sourdough.
How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
I brush twice daily using a soft-bristled toothbrush. I also floss, rinse, and regularly attend my six-monthly dental check-ups and cleans.
