About Dr. Hussein Chamas

With over 15 years of diverse clinical experience across Australia and abroad, I bring a deep level of skill, surgical precision, and patient empathy to every aspect of dentistry. My career began after graduating with a Master of Dental Surgery from Ukraine, where I studied both general medicine and dentistry. After practicing in Lebanon for two years, I migrated to Australia and furthered my qualifications with a Graduate Diploma in Dental Therapy from Westmead, and later a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across both public and private sectors, including roles as a Senior Dental Therapist with Central Coast Services and Juvenile Justice, and as a full-time dentist serving regional communities for over four years. I have also provided care in numerous private clinics across New South Wales. I’m currently completing a Master’s in Dental Implantology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, where I’ve developed advanced expertise in full-arch cases, bone grafting, and guided surgical techniques using CBCT scanning technology.

I have a strong surgical foundation, particularly in managing complex wisdom tooth extractions and root canal therapy for difficult cases. I believe in preserving natural teeth whenever possible, and my goal is always to deliver the best outcome with the least discomfort. Dentistry is evolving fast—and patients deserve care that’s modern, minimally invasive, and backed by evidence. I’m proud to bring that level of care to every patient I treat.

How I stay healthy and happy

In my spare time, I love to travel—it’s how I recharge, stay curious, and experience different cultures. I find that stepping away from routine helps me return to my work with fresh perspective and renewed energy.

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums

For me, prevention is everything. I maintain a consistent routine of brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, flossing daily, and keeping up with regular professional cleanings and check-ups. Staying proactive is the key to long-term oral health.

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy

Never underestimate the power of routine. Daily brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits are simple steps that prevent 90% of dental problems—including decay, gum disease, and tooth loss.
