About Dr. Joshua Ting

I became a dentist because I wanted to make a real difference in people’s lives. Dentistry is practical, hands-on, and offers the opportunity to help individuals in my community by creating lasting, positive results. I also enjoy that dentistry provides a balance between science and craftsmanship—it allows me to work with my hands to create beautiful, functional solutions for patients. One of the best parts is catching up with my regular patients, sharing life updates, and building long-term relationships. Dentistry also offers a good work-life balance, which is important for me, as it allows me to focus on my passion for delivering excellent care without compromising my family time. 

I am an APHRA registered dentist who is committed to providing top-tier dental care that is centered on the patient’s needs. I am passionate about ensuring that every patient’s experience is comfortable and positive, and I take pride in delivering precise, high-quality dental work that stands the test of time. My areas of expertise include root canal therapy, crowns, and pain relief, and I continuously strive for accuracy and precision in every procedure, no matter how long it takes. 

How I stay healthy and happy
Staying active by running after my kids keeps me on my toes. I also focus on eating a balanced diet. But what really keeps me happy is being connected with my friends and family. Taking time daily to appreciate the blessings in my life helps me maintain a positive outlook. 

How I maintain healthy teeth and gums
I brush and floss regularly and personally find that using an electric toothbrush works better for me. I always encourage my patients to give it a try. Flossing is key too. I’m not perfect, and I also fail to floss every day, but I try as much as possible—the more you floss, the better your gums will be! 

Essential tip to keep your teeth healthy
Try an electric toothbrush, and remember to floss as often as you can. Even if it’s not daily, every bit helps to maintain your gum health.
